A-1 Self Storage is proud to support the East County Christmas for Kids event.
The 5th annual East County Christmas for Kids event is sponsored by the Ladies of Hope and The East County Christmas Committee. This a wonderful cause where thousands of needy children throughout 15 East San Diego County schools will receive bagged food along with toys, used books, and many other items.
Donations go to fund the supplies, wrapping paper, tape, tags, bags, bikes, helmets, extra presents, hygiene products, port a potty, rental of facility, trucks to transport, and rental tables needed to support the event.
Toys will be arriving on Monday, December 7th. All wrapping will take place next week at the Church of St. Luke in Rancho San Diego. This distribution covers all of the schools in the El Cajon Valley School District, serving 3,400 low income students. On Saturday, December 12th, bagging and transporting all gifts to Cajon Valley Middle School will take place.
“The A-1 Self Storage donation helps us tremendously since we have to purchase gifts to supplement what Toys for Tots give us”, said Leticia Reece, Fundraising coordinator.
